Acupuncture, Chinese herbs and food therapy
Acupuncture, Chinese herbs and food therapy are used all around the world, either alone or in conjunction with Western medicine, to treat a wide variety of conditions in every species of animal. Clinical research has been conducted showing positive results in the treatment of both animals and humans, and the use of acupuncture, Chinese herbs and food therapy are increasing. Acupuncture , Chinese herbs and food therapy will not cure every condition, but they can work very well when they are indicated.
Palliative Care
Veterinary palliative medicine is a philosophy of care in which a decision has been made to decline or withdraw the pursuit of curative therapy for a life-limiting illness. Some diseases that we treat are managed over the long term without any hope for a cure. These include paresis, neoplasia, diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and congestive heart disease. We work with pet owners to come up with palliative care plans to maintain their quality of life, including pain management and mobility management.
